I'm so glad I called H&H Mechanical for a second opinion!

I have an older HVAC unit, and after three visits from another local company, I was told that I needed a new evaporator coil to restore proper airflow and heat exchange. They were unable to locate the part, so their recommendation was to replace the entire unit.

Thankfully, I decided to call H&H Mechanical, and they sent Diego. What a difference!

Diego is an extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and thorough technician. He took his time diagnosing the system and carefully walked me through everything he was finding. After a detailed inspection, he explained that none of the issues he saw pointed to a bad evaporator coil. Instead, he found that my system was severely overcharged, the blower wheel was dirty, and the outdoor capacitor was bad.

He clearly explained what needed to be done, completed the repairs, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. His attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to explain each step gave me complete confidence in his work.

I was absolutely elated! Diego saved me from unnecessarily replacing my HVAC system and he also saved me thousands of dollars. I was so impressed with the service that I signed up for H&H Mechanical's maintenance plan.

I'm incredibly thankful that I decided to get a second opinion, and even more thankful that Diego was the technician who came to my home. I highly recommend H&H Mechanical, and especially Diego. He is truly one of the most knowledgeable and thorough HVAC technicians I have ever worked with.

We lost our HVAC on our main floor. We were looking for weekend/holiday service and H&H was able to help us. Darrell responded to the call and showed up at our house when he said he would. Our AC went out in the Georgia heat making our home reach 94 degrees at times. We are beyond grateful to have been connected with H&H! The inspection with their tech is where they really gained our trust. He was prompt and incredibly knowledgeable on everything. He really took his time with us and explained so much. He was honest, thorough, and very kind which is a theme amongst all their employees. He also explained that they are a smaller family owned business and you can tell that this is a wonderful benefit as well for they take great pride in their quality of service and work and treat each case with time and care. Every step of the process from the calls to their office, to the quote, and the prompt install, every employee showed how knowledgeable they were, honest, kind, and again, very thorough! We needed our 32 year old unit replaced and they had options for us to choose from with different price points as well as a great financing plan. They gained our trust very quickly and their excellent quality work showed that we made the right call. They had our house cool again within 2 days after the inspection. They had to replace some old parts in the crawl space that holds the filter etc. and it all looks very well done. The office folks also answered our home warranty people's questions and put in extra effort there too. We are just so thankful for this experience and to have our home back again! Highly recommend!
